Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Muhurtaat muhurta.chakrakali.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. An account is optional and is used only to store your birth-chart profiles across devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account.

3. The Service

Muhurta is a Vedic timekeeping and muhurta (electional astrology) reference tool. The clock, panchanga, Choghadiya, kalas, and the 30 muhurtas are available free, without an account. Optional Premium features personalise timing to your birth chart and are subject to a paid subscription (see the Payment & Refund Policy). We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

4. Informational purpose

Muhurta is provided for informational and devotional purposes only. Its calculations are approximate and its guidance is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice. Decisions you make remain your own responsibility.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) violate any law or third-party right; (b) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; (c) misuse the AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content; (d) resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted.

6. Intellectual property

The Service — its software, design, text, and marks — is owned by its operator and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in our marks or software except the limited right to use the Service. See the Copyright Policy.

7. Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed as described at checkout and in the Payment & Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Prices may change prospectively; we will give reasonable notice of increases.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services (payment processing and, for the optional AI features, a large-language-model provider). Their terms govern your use of those services and we are not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or astronomically exact.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted at muhurta.chakrakali.com with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
